Get briefed! Join the League of Women Voters of Illinois for our annual look at current issues. Learn from legislative and nonpartisan experts—be informed and prepared so you can advocate for change in your community and state.
This is a hybrid event—join us in person for idea-sharing, networking, and camaraderie, or, if you can’t make it, tune in from the comfort of home. In-person seating will be limited to the first 200 registrants.
All registrants will be admitted to four plenary sessions. For more information on session topics and speakers, visit lwvil.org/issues-briefing-2026.
Venue offers auditorium seating with tabletop and outlets/USB ports by each seat.
Doors open at 8:15 am. The program will begin promptly at 9:00 am. Issues Briefing ends at 3:30 pm. A continental breakfast will be served in the dining room adjacent to the meeting auditorium until 10:00 am.
If you are attending in person, you have the option to purchase a boxed lunch while registering or instead opt to bring your own lunch. There will be no opportunity for attendees to leave and buy lunch elsewhere. The boxed lunch service offers gluten-free options as well as a vegetarian option. Registration for boxed lunches closes on April 1 at 8:00 am.
Boxed Sandwich Meals include: Sandwich, potato chips, apple, chocolate chip brownie and beverage (Sparkling Water, Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, Starry Lemon Lime). Boxed Salad Meals include: Salad, assorted dinner rolls (French, Seeded or Wheat), apple, chocolate chip cookie and beverage (Sparkling Water, Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, Starry Lemon Lime).
Help us go green! Please bring your own water bottle.The event venue has a station to refill water bottles. No plastic water bottles will be provided. Recyclable water cups will be available.
