Summary
The League of Women Voters of Illinois's Education Fund is proud to partner with artist Niki Johnson to bring her epic multimedia portrait series of first-time women voters to sites across Illinois. The Pillars of Democracy: Unite and Rise tour begins this March in Chicago, then travels to Schaumburg, Galesburg, and Springfield, featuring artist talks, community action opportunities, and hands-on workshops. Join our virtual launch of the statewide tour on Thursday, March 19 at 5:30 p.m. featuring stories and images by the acclaimed artist.
This virtual event is free and open to the public. The program is organized by LWVIL's Committee for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
