Summary
LWVIL will gather in June to determine the focus of our power, making decisions that impact our mission work at the grassroots level.
Members who are unable to serve as delegates are encouraged to attend as observers. This registration form is for observers. If you want to register as a delegate, please contact your local League board.
Convention begins Friday, June 20 with the virtual opening ceremony from 7:00–9:00 pm. This online program will include the Convention welcome, introductions, Board reports, recognitions, and an introduction to the Strategic Plan and new local League grant policy. Local watch parties will be encouraged.
Convention business will be held in person on Saturday, June 21 at the Northern Illinois University Naperville Conference Center (1120 E Diehl Road). Observers may attend in person or watch virtually. The Saturday morning plenary will be held from 9:00–12:00 pm and the afternoon plenary from 1:30–5:00 pm. In-person admission includes a buffet breakfast and buffet lunch.
And join us for social time and lunch before Convention begins! LWVIL will host a visit to the Morton Arboretum for delegates and observers on the afternoon of Friday, June 20. Attendees will receive free admittance.
